| Was contemplating making an offer to some other teams in my braggin rights league, and I was hoping y'all could weigh in. - Quote :
- Key pieces of info involved here are I have Drew Brees with Ryan T and Teddy B as backups, I have Marshawn Lynch, and my WR corps consists of 3 players who got themselves traded out of #1 spots (DeSean J, Steve Smith, and Stevie Johnson). My remaining WR corps is Cecil Shorts, Marques Colston, and Rod Streater of note. We also get points for Kick and Punt returns.
I'm thinking of putting Brees on the block. A division rival has Russell Wilson, Christine Michael and Percy Harvin. I'd like to offer Brees and one of my washed up WRs or a pick to balance.
Another offer I'm thinking of making is Brees and Stevie for Brady and Torrey Smith. I don't think I'll be a contender this year, at best I think I can make the playoffs off my defense and Brees but lose in the 1st round. I have an aging WR corps that isn't going to get any better. Are these dumb offers, and how can i make them better? Or should I just hang on to my pieces and try to tough it out through the upcoming drafts? Thanks for the help guys, it's been bugging me. |

| The only problem that I see with this is the players you're targeting are all scum. I would hang on to Brees if that is all you can get in return. He's got a good handful of years left. |

| He is single-handedly winning me games, so I can definitely see that. I didn't know if I was over reacting about Lynch and my WR situation or not. |

| I'll give you my again. Christine Michael? I'll believe it when I see it. Until then, his asking price doesn't make any sense right now. Desean is still going to put up points. Colston and Shorts will too. Yeah you're up shit's creek on the other guys, but adding someone like Torrey isn't going to put you over the top. |

| coming from someone that probably did over react with Marshawn Lynch don't trade him and for Brees I traded Tom Brady and a first round draft pick for Brees and DeMarcus Ware so I say keep Brees he's going to be a stud for at least two more years
