I am interested in joining this league as it has a different look to it and it is always a good sign that a league is strong & competitive when the Commish is looking to add teams instead of reducing them.
I have competed & participated in fantasy football since the 1990's back when Harold & Gaston Green were my first pair of RB's on a team that I took over mid season. I was fortunate to draft Barry Sanders in my first official draft and road him for numerous years there after. I have also played IDP for many years also.
Honestly, I am not one to start many post unless I feel real strongly about something in particular. I do like to respond to others post to feel other league owners out at times.
Lastly, a couple things about myself ... I am married to my wonderful wife with two kids & I am a head wrestling coach at a local high school in my area. Also help at the varsity level as a defensive coordinator on the football staff & asst. baseball coach at the same school.
Thanks for your time & hope to hear from you soon.

Welcome, Steve. I'm glad you found our league, and I'm hopeful it will be appealing enough for you to hang around and join in with our conversations. So go ahead and get involved anywhere and everywhere you can around here and hopefully we will find a team that you can call your own.
It may take up to one month for us to decide if we feel like you will be a good fit in our league, in the meantime stay engaged in order for us to get to know you better.
We look forward to seeing you around, Steve.

Hey Steve. Â I have been going to the NCAA wrestling championships every year since 2000. Â Wrestling is a very under appreciated sport. Â The fact that they tried to remove it from the Olympics, but yet still have crap like curling and synchronized swimming makes me want to vomit. Â
I was at Cael Sanderson's final match when he beat Jon Trenge in the finals. Â 20 minutes standing ovation. Â Truly awe-inspiring. Â
My favorite match at the championships was either (and don't read any of the comments if you have never seen the match):
or this one:

I tried to find the video for Mike Zadick vs. Reggie Wright back in 2001 but couldn't find it. That one was also awesome.
Iron pigs. Awesome. As a new member myself, welcome.

Thanks guys for the welcome. I remember those matches well, especially Cael Sanderson's. I almost had my wife talked into naming our oldest Sanderson Swinson, lol. She thought it was too much of a run on name. Also she is not much into wrestling. Meet her after high school.
Question, can anyone tell me what team(s) are open?
Thanks, IronPigs

Well ... I am currently in 6 leagues, 4 MFL, 1 local league (17 years) & a league with our high school football staff.
I already like the activity in this league.
Thanks! IronPigs

I am a "HUGE" fan of Andrew Luck! I am interested in the Dragon franchise as WR's have a few guys to build around, but will have to actively work on the RB's & IDP's.

Steve, we are looking for guys that like to talk about fantasy football and football in general. If you don't have any interest in talking about it here on our forum then this may not be the place for you. There are a ton of orphan teams out there that just want to plug an owner into it. Here we want to make sure we get the right people that will create an entertaining atmosphere. Reading your post it sounds like you will be a great fit here, but we need to see you jump into our conversations to make sure. There are tons of threads in the NFL and Player sections that we would love to hear your opinion on. Thanks man, and I hope your work out here!

Well, I have a fantasy football question, do most owners like to use a second QB or another RB in their starting line-up in this league? It has been a few years since I played in a league where you could use 2-QB's each week.

Most people roll with 2 QBs, but starting in '15, we will only start one.

I did notice that rule change. With two QB's, depending on who they are, my guess you could win using them and above average RB's instead of two stud RB's and one good QB.

Definitely depends on who it is, and only using one QB isn't necessarily a bad thing either. You can definitely do well here with only one.

Are there many trades in this league? I love wheeling & dealing trades to improve my individual roster.

Some of us are heavy traders. We probably trade more than we should. Others not so much, but overall I would say this is a fun league to trade in. Everyone has their quirks that you have to learn.
